This land of lakes and streams offers the finest trout and salmon fishing to be found in New England. Fall brings a kaleidoscope of colors with its bracingly cool, yet sunny days and frosty nights. Winter in the North Country is seldom experienced without the presence of snowmobiles.

There are almost 800 miles of groomed trails from Lancaster north to the Canadian Border. If exploring the many trails on foot, ATV, or snowmobile or just enjoying the wonders of nature is what you like, then the North Country is the place to be.
